Father’s Day Rib Cook in DC: Rain, Ribs, and Referrals
On June 8th, K-Town Pit Que brought the smoke to D.C. for a special backyard cook celebrating two awesome dads. With ribs, Brussels sprouts, and mac and cheese on the grill—and the whole family rocking K-Town Pit Que shirts—it was a day full of flavor, laughter, and learning. Even a little (ok, a lot of) rain couldn’t stop the fun. Big thanks to our amazing hosts—and to the friend who referred them. We’ll always make room on the pit for family and friends. 🐖👕🔥
Our First Solo Showdown: K-Town Pit Que at the Loudoun Rotary BBQ Classic
Rain, wind, and a 3:00 AM wake-up call couldn’t stop K-Town Pit Que from bringing the smoke at the Loudoun Rotary BBQ Classic. In our first solo competition, we battled seasoned teams, weathered a storm (literally), and walked away with solid finishes in chicken, ribs, and pork. But more than the trophies, it was a family affair—kids pulling pork, Kim rocking turn-in boxes, and the whole crew showing what K-Town is all about: family, community, and fun.
